With an elevation of 9,100ft, Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Nepal is commonly referred to as the most dangerous and extreme airport in the world. With tough surrounding terrain, thin air, highly changeable weather and a sloping runway, the airport has been the scene of six crashes since 2004. See a video of a landing and takeoff here. (via)
